Different countries celebrate Mother’s Day on various days.
The United Kingdom celebrate it on the 26-th of March. It originated from the 16-th century, when children worked far away from home. They send their money to parents. Once a year they were allowed to visit their family. They brought small presents: flowers and eggs. Nowadays British children present flowers to their mothers and do housework for them.
Russia inherited western tradition. We celebrate Mother’s day on the fourth Sunday of November.
